A reception was held on May 16th at the Milpitas Library in Milpitas, California, highlighting Dorothy’s One Love paintings. The show will end on June 18th after two months.
The reception was attended by Pen Women, family and friends who came to show their support.

This body of work is a culmination of years of using painting for healing. Each image began with a quiet message of healing. Dorothy has continued her commitment to changing the narrative through colors on her canvas. Her paintings are subtle but confident, invoking conversation. One Love likes to show off its charm and flash it’s past when simple kindness was and still is free.

A second viewing of Dorothy's art show was on June 9th with Rolayne Edwards, Dorothy Atkins, Louise Webb & Luanna Leisure. We celebrated Dorothy and her art show along with celebrating Louise Webb's 92nd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOUISE.
